Welcome to the South Florida - USA Regional Training Center, Home of SWAT! You have made a great choice and we want to help your son/daughter reach their goals as quickly as possible.
SWAT - Sheldon Wrestling Academy Training has various levels to aid in the development of the wrestler or wrestling skills. There are no age limit barriers, each wrestler will be assigned a level based on their accomplishments in competition or the goal they want to achieve.
To become a champion it takes the “3 D’s” Dedication, Discipline, and Desire. Our program instills that into every session, but ultimately it’s up to the athlete. The program will provide the keys for the door, it’s up to you to turn the key and push the door open.
USA wrestling events are held throughout the year in all parts of Florida. Age and weight of the wrestler classifies him for the events. South Florida - USA Regional Training Center will organize and provide information on these events. Any fees associated will not be covered by the South Florida - USA Regional Training Center. As a team we will travel to these events and participate. All ages and parents are welcome to attend.
The South Florida - USA Regional Training Center will also have mini camps prior to major events and clinicians from out of state visit throught the year. The clinicians will top level coaches from all 3 styles of wrestling.
