I would like to start out with thanking you for allowing your child to participate in SWAT.  Without your support we would not be wrestling.  Thank you for your support.

In this current time we are in, we will all come across or know someone in your circle that has contracted COVID-19. Please Report any COVID-19 issues to any SWAT coach and others you had contact with.

I am doing everything possible to keep the wrestlers and myself safe, healthy and having a COVID-19 free zone at the SWAT facility.  I need your support.

  • Adhere to Policies
  • Immediately Report COVID-19 positive test results
  • Immediately Report Contact with a Person that is COVID-19 positive
  • Self-Monitoring for COVID-19 (yourself & family)

SWAT COVID-19 Policies In Place 2020 - Updated policies, which is part of the welcome message joining membership.

  • Everyone entering the SWAT facility must have a mask, temperature checked and is asked to read health questions pertaining to COVID-19 symptoms.  Then confirm they don’t have any symptoms.
  • Anyone feeling sick or has been sick, should stay at home and seek medical attention. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SWAT FACILITY.

  • If anyone in the family has tested positive for COVID-19, notify a SWAT coach immediately and any people you have came in contact with.
  • 5-day quarantine if came into contact with someone that tested positive for COVID-19.  Need to show a negative COVID-19 test result 2-3 days after contact to be allowed back inside SWAT facility.
  • 5-day quarantine for the wrestler/s living at home that has a household member positive for COVID-19.  Everyone in the house must show a negative test result for COVID-19, before wrestler is allowed back inside the SWAT facility.
  • Quarantine – Starts the day of contact with a positive COVID-19 person, family member or started having symptoms.
    • If followed by a positive COVID-19 test.  The only way to be removed from quarantine (after quarantine date) is by showing a negative test result for COVID-19

Covid-19 Health Questions

PARENTS

Please, Do Not enter the facility during dropoff & pickup time, only if it's nessary for youth wrestler and must have a mask on at all times while in the facility. Parents drop off their child before the start of training and pickup their child at the end of the session.  If you need to walk your child into the facility please wear a mask and stay in the front of the facility away from the wrestlers.

  • It is NOT allowed for parents to enter the SWAT facility past the front desk into the wrestling area.
  • No congregating with wrestlers outside or in the SWAT facility is NOT PERMITTED.
  • The Wrestling Area will be viewed on the  TV's in the front area.

Since most of the kids don’t have very much contact with others outside of their small circle.  Maybe some friends but mostly wrestling is one of there most venturous places they will go outside.  And hopefully they are wearing a mask when visiting stores or restaurants.

Parents on the other hand are working and doing various things that need to be done throughout the day.  Just to be safe, please only enter the SWAT facility if needed and keep 6 feet distance from the kids.

Thank you,
Shawn Sheldon
